Worthington records 10 deed transfers in four weeks, but most sale prices go unreported

Worthington recorded 10 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $21,400 to $566,200 with a $120,000 median among those three. The period's top disclosed sale was 44 Goss Hill Rd at $566,200 on Sept. 4, sold by William T. Sampson Jr. to First World Mortgage Corp. Three of the seven undisclosed-price transfers named Florence Bank as seller, and two others listed "Declaration of Homestead" as buyer rather than a new owner. With most prices unreported, the data does not support calling the period active or quiet.
